My Little Princess growing in my tummy! I am so excited I can't wait to meet my
Little Miracle baby. I just know she will be perfect and my life will never be the same.

This was my decoration on my hospital door.

Her Yaya was suppose to make it,

but since she came 6 weeks early,
her Aunt Shell was on call, and did an amazing job!

This is when I saw her for the first time,

she was as beautiful as I imagined.
No words can describe the joy I felt when I saw my baby girl!

Thankfully, she was very healthy to be so early. She had to go to the NICU because she was under 5 lbs and because I was less than 35 weeks pregnant. I had an emergeny c-section @34 weeks for pre-eclampsia. I was very scared and just wanted to get her here safely. I had her @5:14 and only got to kiss her before she was swept away to the NICU. It was hard because all I had was pictures until 9am the next day. So, of course , I looked at pictures all night and cried just eager to hold my baby girl. I was unable to go and visit her because I had to wait until my spinal wore off. The wait seemed forever, but it was worth it. She spent 10 long days in the NICU before she was able to go home. I would never wish that upon any mother. It was very hard on me and my baby was healthy. I am very thankful for blessed for that:)

Her first smile:) It was so.....sweet.

She has lots of nicknames: She goes by "Katie Bug", "Pooh Bear", and "LK". I call her "Pooh Bear" and Yaya calls her "Katie Bug" and almost everybody else calls her "LK". These pics are of her very first beach trip. She wasn't but about 7 weeks old and didn't even weigh 7lbs. She was so tiny. We spent most of the time in the room and only came out when the sun went down.
